Ed Ho

CFA, MSc. Energy Policy & Climate

At Deloitte Canada, I support energy, nuclear, infrastructure, and clean technology advisory work within Strategy, Risk & Transactions. My focus is on bridging strategy and execution across market entry, project development, Indigenous and community engagement, policy-commercial analysis, and thought leadership for emerging energy technologies.

My work sits at the intersection of nuclear power, SMRs, mining, critical minerals, industrial decarbonisation, Indigenous-led energy development, and energy infrastructure. I help connect policy, finance, stakeholder dynamics, and project realities to support pragmatic solutions in complex environments.

I hold a Master of Science in Energy Policy & Climate from Johns Hopkins University, where my capstone thesis examined the North American nuclear supply chain and its links to energy technology, the grid, industrial capability, and policy. As a Chartered Financial Analyst, I bring extensive finance experience across portfolio management, venture and growth capital, corporate development, and strategy.

I am also a writer, presenter, project manager, and multilingual communicator, with experience working across diverse teams, communities, and organisations. My approach is grounded in curiosity, practical problem-solving, and a commitment to building alignment around the future of energy and infrastructure.
